"We began training with Tracy in 2001 at Campaign Dog Academy in
Ontario. She took us from puppy class to CD titles and beyond with our
first two Vizslas. We developed a great appreciation for her positive
and enthusiastic attitude towards obedience training, her huge skill set
for training all kinds of obedience behaviours, and her amazing ability
to adapt her methods to the needs of a particular dog and handler.
Unlike many instructors, she is always encouraging (even when she is
pointing out areas that need improvement to get top scores in
competition), and she keeps it fun for everyone so that obedience
training is a pleasure, not a chore. Tracy makes you feel like she is
your training partner and ally, and we feel very lucky to have had the
chance to work with her. She is simply the best obedience instructor we
have ever had.
Now if only she would move back to Ontario...."

Reference letter re: Tracy Snyder ‘ Dog - People trainer extraordinaire’
My wife and I have had the pleasure and privilege of studying canine
obedience under the tutelage of Tracy Snyder for several years in
Ontario. From this experience,
I offer my unqualified
endorsement of Tracy as an extraordinary and rare professional.
Tracy is gifted,
simply watching her rapport while working with dogs will lead you to
this conclusion. However
Tracy excels on a second front, one of equal importance.
Tracy knows how to teach
people.
I have met many canine performance professionals that share similar
abilities with dogs to Tracy’s.
Unfortunately, far too many of them do not share Tracy’s skill
with people. Tracy is a
former teacher, and from that experience Tracy has learned to
articulate, demonstrate, motivate and inspire her students. Through
friendly and logical methods and strategies, She makes you believe that
you can ‘do it’ and then shows you that you can.
The ability to teach others is a skill that is often undervalued.
As the coordinator of a college program with over 700 students, I
have learned to recognize and appreciate teaching talent. I have taken
courses in canine performance with other canine professionals and can
say unequivocally that Tracy Snyder is clearly one if the best there is.
‘Tracy should have written the book.’
Under Tracy’s direction you will find your dog doing better, doing
better faster , you will learn to
correct yourself, analyze
your own performance, exceed your expectations and above all enjoy the
experience.
Some reference letters refer to an individual’s coveted titles and
performance achievements. I
believe that Tracy has many but to tell you the truth I never bothered
to ask about them. I recognize talent when I see it and I sincerely
suggest, that if it is a talented canine teacher that you are looking
for, look no further!
Sincerely,

It was 14 years ago I happened into Campaign Dog
Academy and into one of Tracy’s classes and thank goodness I did. I
hesitate to guess what could have happened had I not had Tracy. My
German Shepherd “Mica”, was extremely timid and hard to handle and
no one thought we’d ever be able to compete. We persevered and with
Tracy’s guidance went on to not only compete but to rise to the
top. Mica and I made it to the Top Ten Obedience Dogs In Canada in
2000 and again in 2001, attaining Top Obedience German Shepherd 4
straight years in a row as well as our Masters Title. I can say
whole heartedly without a doubt that anyone wishing to get the very
best in an Obedience Teacher, be it for a well mannered family dog
or Competition Obedience need not look any further than Tracy
Snyder. Tracy is the kind of teacher everyone dreams of. Her
approachability and genuine enthusiasm puts everyone at ease. Tracy
gently coaches and directs you every step of the way so both you and
your dog have no choice but to succeed. Classes are always a blast
with Tracy as she keeps them fun and innovative, all with a positive
reward based approach. No cookie cutter approach with Tracy as she
can adapt and customize to the specific needs of each student and
dog.
Tracy we couldn’t have done it without you and I’m
forever grateful for the guidance you gave us !

RE: Tracy Snyder
I have had the
pleasure of knowing Tracy for approximately 8 years. During
this time, I was involved with The Dog Training Club of Bermuda
and also competing with my German shepherds in obedience.
As Bermuda is a
small Island, we did not have knowledgeable trainers and
instructors. It was during our shows that we met Tracy and saw
the amazing relationship that she had with her dogs. We invited
Tracy to come to Bermuda to start a training program in order to
assist us with the competitions and also building a stronger
bond with our dogs.
This was a start
of a wonderful relationship. Tracy brought so much knowledge
and skill to our members. There was not a problem that Tracy
could not work out and devise a method that would help solve
that problem.
Tracy was brought
in numerous times and is still called upon to help.
Tracy is always
very organized and provided written instruction that is easy to
follow.
I would welcome
anyone to train under Tracy’s methodology, she is amazing!
I wish her the
very best in her future training and I am so pleased that she
has a new venture in her life.
Yours faithfully,

To Whom It May
Concern:
I have personally
known Tracy Snyder for approximately 11 years. And, have worked
in the dog training industry, with Tracy, for the past 8 years.
My most recent experiences in a dog training class with Tracy
have been being taught myself with my puppy. Her classes are
very well organized, informative, and of course lots of fun.
Tracy’s enthusiasm
and genuine love of dogs are some of her great qualities. She
is also very knowledgeable on all aspects of dog training,
whether it is with puppies or adult dogs. Her patience working
with a large group of dogs, or on an individual basis was a
definite asset while working with Tracy.
I have no
hesitation in highly recommending Tracy for any K-9 requirements
you might have. You will find her a big help.
If you need
further information, please write or phone at any time.

This is just a short note to say
thank-you. I just started training
my second Brittany Spaniel "Dileas"
in competitive obedience. I had so
much fun training my first Brittany
"River" to her Canadian UD and
American CD. When I started
training River, I thought I would
just take some puppy classes but you
made the classes so interesting and
fun I couldn't stop! Before I knew
it, I was competing and getting high
marks! You have a great talent for
teaching. Not only did your
knowledge of dog behaviour help me
train my dog, I was able to take
many things I learned in class and
use them in my job as a veterinarian
to help my clients understand and
train their puppies.
Congratulations on starting your
school in Nova Scotia. I miss you
and wish you the best of luck.

Re: Character/Teaching Reference – Tracy Snyder
I met Tracy Snyder when I first attended Campaign Dog Academy in 2003.
She quickly became
a valued friend and a favoured source of information. While other
trainers are able to provide
technical knowledge, Tracy has the rare ability to customize her
presentation for each student.
I
see her as more of a coach than a simple instructor. Her classes are
informative and entertaining
for both me and my dog. Tracy is a positive, high energy person with a
warm and sunny
disposition; a pleasure to train and compete with.
I am always comforted to see Tracy on trial day where her game plans and
calming nature are
irreplaceable. I have joked that she is the voice I hear in my head,
guiding me when I am in the
ring and the pressure in on. Even three provinces away Tracy remains a
prime contact for all
things dog.
Ontario’s loss is Nova Scotia’s gain.
